Paul Harpin was experimenting with a narrow rounded typeface and wondered what would happen if the weight was increased at the base of each letterform. 

 

Well, it looked like the sixties, and he thought about calling it Carnaby Street, but the name was already taken.  

 

“I worked on the King’s Road in the 80s for Condé Nast, opposite the Town Hall — I loved it. This design is for the King’s Road now and back then.”

This sixties inspired design is a groovy rounded display face with a signature ‘bottom heavy’ styling that becomes more pronounced the bolder you go!

 

A flared & foxy font family that evokes a super cool period for music and fashion in London’s history. Do you dig it?
