LDN Kew Script is a quirky and curly informal script brimming with character and alternates for increased versatility.

 

Designed by Pat & Paul Hickson, this monolinear beauty is playful and innocent, the looped letterforms and gentle curves adding a distinctly feminine charm.

LDN Kew Script

Pat Hickson’s development sketches were partly influenced by early Art Deco shapes as they moved from the Art Nouveau style.

LDN Kew Script

The name ‘Kew’, as in ‘Kew Gardens’, was arrived at because Paul Hickson felt that his wife Pat’s early sketches had an organic feel to the character shapes. She’s also a keen gardener and botanical illustrator so the name is suitably fitting.

 

Heavier weights are in the pipeline and Pat is also considering the addition of ‘Floriated Initials’ at some stage in the future.
