Paul Harpin considered his earlier LDN Fatface typeface powerful, but he was inspired by a sample sheet he saw (at St Brides possibly) that was so much wider, with even greater power, so he worked to those new widths. 

It seemed to emphasise the angles in the capitals and was so reminiscent of the London Docklands that he thought it would be worth giving the typeface its own name — LDN Isle of Dogs.

LDN Isle of Dogs is a distinctive display typeface, a high contrast rational serif with thick vertical stems and ultra fine horizontals.

Other key features include thin, unbracketed serifs and large ball terminals on the lower case. 

Available in a single weight with an extended Latin character set.
