LDN Cable Street is a stylish inline display sans face designed by Paul Harpin. This ancient London street was long and straight, as cables (ropes) for sailing ships on the nearby River Thames were woven here.

Paul’s all caps typeface contains no overshoots on the rounded characters to enable seamless interlocking of the glyphs when any of the 8 additional style sets are activated.

Successful mass protests by anti-fascist demonstrators took place on Cable Street in 1936. This brave protest was the turning point that led to the decline of the hideous Oswald Mosley and his appalling British Union of Fascists.

LDN Cable Street is available in 2 variations, the Condensed No. 2 style having a thicker inline stroke for use at smaller sizes.
